Our Journey Ahead The ModelForge Roadmap
Building the world's most open and powerful AI platform is a marathon, not a sprint. Our roadmap is a living document, but it lays out the journey we envision. We're starting with a solid foundation and moving toward a future where AI is built, shared, and governed by its users. Every step is designed to bring more power and creative freedom to you.
Phase 1: The Spark — Foundation and Community (Q1–Q2 2026)
Our first phase is all about getting the core tools into the hands of early adopters. We’re launching the first versions of our key products and kicking off the token ecosystem. The goal is to build a strong foundation and gather feedback from our very first users to make sure we’re building what you truly need.
- ModelForge Studio (Alpha): We'll release an invite only alpha of our no code AI builder to gather crucial feedback.
- ModelForge Stream (Beta): Users will get access to top-tier chat and vision models from many providers, all in one place.
- The ModelForge Token ($FORGE): We will launch our native token to power the ecosystem and align incentives.
- Decentralized Cloud (Alpha): The first version of our cost-saving GPU network will be rolled out for early testers.
Phase 2: Ignition — Public Access and Deeper Power (Q3–Q4 2026)
With the foundation set, we’re ready to open the doors to everyone. This phase is about bringing ModelForge to the public and adding much deeper customization features. We’re also giving developers the tools they need to start building on top of our platform, turning it into a true ecosystem.
- Public Platform Launch: ModelForge Studio and Stream will become available for everyone to use.
- Advanced Customization: We'll introduce tools for fine tuning your model’s personality, behavior, and unique skills.
- Expanded Model Library: Expect to see new multimodal, voice, and audio models integrated into Stream.
- Developer SDK & API: The first version of our SDK and API will be released for programmatic access.
Phase 3: Acceleration — Scaling for Business and True Autonomy (Q1–Q2 2027)
In this phase, we shift our focus to professional and enterprise use. We’re building features that allow teams to collaborate and businesses to run on ModelForge securely. This is also where we introduce the building blocks for autonomous AI agents, opening up a new world of possibilities.
- AI Agent Models: We'll give you the tools to build and deploy autonomous AI agents for complex tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Features for shared projects, collaborative model training, and team management will go live.
- Enterprise Grade Security: We will roll out advanced security, compliance, and data privacy controls.
- Model & Dataset Marketplace: A marketplace for our community to share, sell, and discover unique models and datasets.
Phase 4: Singularity — A Decentralized Future (Q3–Q4 2027)
The final phase of our initial roadmap is about fulfilling our ultimate vision: putting the community in charge. We will transition to a fully decentralized governance model, where the future of the platform is decided by its users. This is where ModelForge becomes a true public good, owned and operated by everyone.
- MFG Native Identity Launch: Your native MFG identity will become your passport for governance and platform participation.
- Launch of the ModelForge DAO: We will establish a Decentralized Autonomous Organization to guide the platform’s future.
- Community-Led Development: $FORGE holders will be able to vote on new features, model integrations, and roadmap priorities.
- Open-Source Core Infrastructure: We’ll open-source key parts of the platform to foster transparency and accelerate innovation.
